Israeli occupation forces demolished ten Palestinian homes and two structures on Monday across the occupied West Bank, including several neighborhoods in occupied Jerusalem, in a series of large‑scale demolition operations targeting residential buildings, agricultural facilities, and commercial properties.
Israeli forces demolished a home in the Al‑Bustan neighborhood of Silwan, south of the Al‑Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, belonging to Mahmoud Mohammad Atiya Qweider, under the pretext of building without a permit.
Occupation authorities also forced the Rimawi family to carry out the self‑demolition of their three homes in Jabal Al‑Mukabber, southeast of occupied Jerusalem, citing lack of permits.
The Jerusalem Governorate said around ten people lived in these homes, each measuring between 50 and 70 square meters.
In Beit Hanina At‑Tahta, north of occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces demolished one home and a sheep pen.
In Bethlehem, Israeli forces issued evacuation notices on Monday targeting several homes and a commercial structure in the town of Nahalin, west of the city, in preparation for demolishing them.
Israeli forces invaded the Qurna al‑Da’mas area south of the town and ordered residents to evacuate their homes and structures immediately, without providing any timeframe, indicating that demolition could occur at any moment in the coming hours.
The targeted properties include the homes of Ahmad Mohammad Najajra and Mohammad Yousef Awad, as well as a commercial facility belonging to Dheeb Ismail Shakarna.
The orders are part of a previous demolition orders affecting 14 homes and structures across several areas of Nahalin. Last Wednesday, Israeli forces demolished four of those homes.
In Ni’lin, west of Ramallah in the central West Bank, the number of demolitions rose to three homes and one agricultural structure.
Soldiers demolished the home of Wasim Mahmoud Nafe’, which housed his family of five and measured around 200 square meters.
They also demolished the two‑story homes of Saddam Nimir Hussein Nafe’ and Nassim Dar Nafe’, each approximately 200 square meters.
In addition, they demolished an agricultural livestock structure belonging to Monir Kahoush, built on one dunam of land.
In the Arraba Junction area, southwest of Jenin in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces demolished a three‑story home belonging to Jihad Mousa, amid heavy military deployment and the closure of all access roads.
The Araba Junction area has witnessed a sharp escalation in Israeli measures in recent weeks, including bulldozing, demolitions, and the targeting of commercial and agricultural facilities, causing extensive losses to residents and business owners.
Israeli forces also demolished residential buildings and commercial shops near the village of Anza, south of Jenin, after giving the owners only 40 minutes to evacuate.
The owners said soldiers ordered immediate evacuation despite the case still being pending in Israeli courts, and despite having previously obtained a freeze order on the demolition. Occupation authorities later reversed the freeze and enforced the demolition without delay.
