The Israeli army stormed several towns and cities in separate regions of the occupied West Bank, on Thursday, and abducted 49 Palestinians, including 24 workers from Gaza who are sheltering in the West Bank.

Tulkarem

In the predawn hours of Thursday, Israeli forces invaded the town of Far’un, south of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

Soldiers abducted nineteen unidentified Palestinian workers from the Gaza Strip who were residing at the residential “Kamal Salama Building” in the eastern neighborhood of the town.

On Thursday afternoon, the army invaded the Shweika neighborhood in the city of Tulkarem in addition to the town of Zeita to the north.

In the city of Tulkarem, soldiers roamed the streets on foot and in armored vehicles in a wide-scale search operation. In Zeita town, the army drove through the streets while firing tear gas canisters.

Nablus

In the northern part of the occupied West Bank, the army invaded the village of Qusin, west of Nablus city, and stormed the village council building, breaking down doors.

The soldiers stormed and searched the “Qusin Club” and abducted two Palestinian workers from Gaza who were staying there. They were identified as Mahmoud Ahmed Khalil Al-Sisak, and Hamdan Abu Jama’.

In the old City of Nablus, soldiers abducted three Palestinians during their incursion into the Old City of Nablus. They are Jalal Owaijan, Maan Abu Lawi, and Khalil Zakaria.

Ramallah

The army stormed the city of Ramallah, on Thursday morning, sparking fierce resistance among armed Palestinian resistance fighter who exchanged fire with the soldiers.



Media sources said that soldiers closed “Rocket” advertising printing press in the city under an unknown pretext.

Occupied Jerusalem

On Thursday evening, the army abducted four Palestinians in Sur Baher town, southeast of occupied Jerusalem including the brothers, Muhammad and Abd Hassan Amira, in addition to Amer Attoun and his son, Omar.

In the courtards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem occupation forces abducted two children, Abdul Rahman Abu Mukh and Mahmoud Agbariya.

Bethlehem

In the southern part of the West Bank, Israeli soldiers invaded and searched the homes of Osama Ribhi Abu Shaira, 40, in the Al-Azza refugee camp in Bethlehem, and Muhammad Raafat Abu Sorour, 23, from the Aida refugee camp north of Bethlehem.

In the Dheisheh refugee camp, south of the city, the army abducted three unidentified workers from the besieged Gaza Strip.

Hebron

On Thursday morning, Israeli soldiers stormed the southern West Bank city of Hebron, broke into citizens’ homes, and abducted Abdullah Al-Karki and Amir Al-Karki.

From Ad-Dhahiriya town, southwest of Hebron, soldiers abducted Khaldoun Al-Battat, Khaled Hussein Al-Battat, Omar Anwar Ismail Al-Tal, Ibrahim Ali Al-Battat, the brothers Ayman and Yahya Youssef Ismail Al-Tal, Dr. Zaid Abu Dayyeh, Jamil Mansiyeh, Osama Al-Qaysiyah, Muhammad Abu Hawada Al-Qaisiyah, and Majdi Muhammad Mansour Al-Qaisiyah, after storming and searching their homes.

North of the city, occupation forces, on Thursday evening, fired live rounds and tear gas canisters at Palestinian youths who resisted the army presence at the main entrance to Beit Ummar town.

Furthermore, soldiers abducted Muhammad Nasser Mahfouz while he was traveling to his home in the Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, on Thursday evening.

According to the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS); “the total number of arrests after the seventh of last October rose to more than (3,670), and this total includes those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.”
