On Tuesday night, Israeli soldiers shot one Palestinian with rubber-coated steel bullets and caused fifteen to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation in Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.
Media sources said several army jeeps invaded the Batn al-Hawa neighborhood in Silwan, leading to protests, and fired many rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at the protesters and surrounding buildings.
They added that the soldiers shot one Palestinian with a rubber-coated steel bullet and caused at least fifteen to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
Also in Jerusalem, the soldiers invaded the Al-Isawiya town, leading to protests before firing gas bombs and rubber-coated steel bullets. Then, they used trucks to spray homes and streets with wastewater mixed with chemicals.
