Israeli soldiers invaded, earlier Thursday, Beit Fajjar and al-Khader towns, south of the West Bank city of Bethlehem, searched homes and kidnapped six Palestinians. The soldiers also kidnapped six Palestinians in Marka and Zawiya villages near the northern West Bank city of Jenin, the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has reported.
The Bethlehem office of the PPS said the soldiers kidnapped Othman Salah, 37, Mahmoud Ghneim, 35, Ashraf Salah, 38, Mahmoud Mohammad Salah, 30, and Mohammad Rebhi, 33, from their homes in al-Khader.
It added that the soldiers also invaded and searched homes in Beit Fajjar, and kidnapped Ali Samir Taqatqa, 28.
In addition, the soldiers invaded Marka and Zawiya village, south of Jenin, searched many homes and kidnapped six Palestinians.
Several army vehicles, and two military bulldozers, invaded Marka village, before the soldiers broke into and searched many homes, and kidnapped Bilal Abu Jalboush, Saleh Ali Mousa, Ahmad Ali Mousa, Samir Shafiq, Nafe’ Mousa and Tha’er Moayyad Mousa.
In Zawiya nearby village, the soldiers kidnapped a young man, identified as Mas’oud Abu al-Wafa, after searching his home.
On Thursday morning, Israeli navy ships opened fire at several Palestinian fishing boats, near Gaza city and in central Gaza, while the soldiers opened fire at farmers on their lands, northeast of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Also on Thursday morning, Israeli soldiers shot and injured a Palestinian child from near ‘Atara military roadblock, between Birzeit and Atara towns, north of the central West Bank city of Ramallah.
