The Israeli aggression on the city of Tulkarem and its refugee camps has entered its 40th consecutive day, and the 27th day on the Nur Shams refugee camp, amid escalating field operations, intensive military reinforcements, and the demolition of numerous homes.
Media sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces have deployed military reinforcements towards the city and its refugee camps, with vehicles and infantry units patrolling the streets and neighborhoods, particularly in the southern and western areas and the central market.
They have also surrounded the entrances to the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, firing live rounds, sound bombs, and flares, with loud explosions heard.
The sources added that occupation soldiers and heavy bulldozers continue to be present in front of homes and residential buildings on Nablus Street, which connects the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps.
The soldiers are also stopping vehicles, searching them, checking citizens’ IDs, and detaining and interrogating them.
Additionally, the soldiers invaded several homes on Nablus Street belonging to the Tabbal, Hussein Younis, and Hamdallah families, forcing them to evacuate by 10 a.m.
The occupation army also stormed the Abu Montaser Al-As’as building in the Ektaba suburb east of the city, searching apartments and vandalizing their contents.
Israeli forces continued to deploy their vehicles in neighborhoods in Tulkarem refugee camp, particularly in the Al-Matar, Abu Al-Foul, and Daba Um Johar areas in the Al-Balawna neighborhood, preventing anyone from entering while firing live rounds at those who tried.
Eyewitnesses confirmed that Israeli occupation soldiers have intensified their offensive in the refugee camp, systematically destroying every corner, turning it into an empty area except for a few families at the entrances.
The refugee camp has sustained extensive damage to its infrastructure, with homes demolished, vandalized, and burned, while the remaining ones have been turned into military barracks amid widespread explosions.
In the Nur Shams refugee camp, occupation bulldozers demolished homes and residential buildings in the Al-Manshiyya neighborhood as part of a plan to create a new road to alter the camp’s geographical features.
The army had previously notified residents of the demolition of 17 homes in this area. It is worth noting that occupation bulldozers have demolished more than 11 homes in recent days as part of the same plan.
The Nur Shams refugee camp continues to experience ongoing escalation and a suffocating siege, with Israeli soldiers deploying military reinforcements and continuing to invade and demolish homes after blowing up their doors and forcibly evicting residents.
Some homes have been turned into military centers, and the refugee camp has suffered complete destruction of its infrastructure and properties, including homes and shops, which have been demolished, blown up, burned, and looted.
The continuous aggression on the city and its refugee camps has resulted in the death of 13 Palestinians, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant.
Additionally, dozens have been injured and arrested, and more than 9,000 people have been forcibly displaced from the Nur Shams refugee camp, and 12,000 from the Tulkarem refugee camp.
Since the beginning of this year, Israeli soldiers have killed at least 96 Palestinians, including 16 children and 2 women, in the occupied West Bank: 43 in Jenin, 18 in Tubas, 14 in Tulkarem, 11 in Nablus, 5 in Hebron, 2 in Bethlehem, 1 in Jerusalem, and 1 in Qalqilia.
