On Friday, Israeli forces killed two Palestinian citizens in Gaza City, in the northern part of the besieged and destroyed Gaza Strip. The occupation continues to violate the ceasefire agreement which came into effect on January 19, 2025.
WAFA correspondent reported that an armed Israeli drone fired a missile at a group of Palestinians near the Al-Mu’tasim Mosque on Al-Mansoura Street, in the Al-Shuja’iyya neighborhood of Gaza City, killing two and injuring others.
The slain citizens were identified as Alaa Imad Aslim and Mohammad Subhi Aslim, while an undetermined number of citizens sustained injuries.
The Arab 48 news website reported that Israeli tanks fired artillery shells, on Friday morning and evening, east of the Abasan al-Kabira town, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Quds News Network reported that Israeli forces opened heavy fire towards Palestinian lands in the Al-Salam neighborhood of the Jabalia refugee camp, in the northern Gaza Strip, on Friday afternoon.
Media sources said that Civil Defense crews transported two wounded Palestinian citizens to hospital after an Israeli quadcopter dropped a grenade on a tent sheltering displaced citizens in Tal al-Sultan, west of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Arab 48 news website reported that occupation forces fired heavily at citizens’ homes in the eastern areas of Gaza City, on Friday night.
The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that 48,446 citizens have been killed, including women and children, while 111,852 others have been wounded as a result of Israel’s brutal military onslaught against the besieged Gaza Strip beginning on October 7, 2023.
Occupation authorities continue to prevent the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, maintaining the closure of all crossings since Sunday.
