Israeli forces continued their bombardment of the Gaza Strip on Saturday, striking various locations across the devastated coastal enclave, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians. The relentless attacks come amid an ongoing blockade, leaving the population increasingly vulnerable and starved of essential resources.

In northern Gaza, Israeli artillery shells struck an area near the Ta’leem Junction in Beit Lahia, killing at least two Palestinians and injuring several others.

Meanwhile, in Gaza City’s Sabra neighborhood, a missile targeted a Palestinian home, killing ten Palestinians and wounding many more. Rescue efforts remain underway, as multiple individuals remain trapped beneath the rubble.

In central Gaza, Israeli airstrikes on Saturday evening killed ten Palestinians and injured several others.

Separately, three Palestinians were killed when the army bombarded a residence belonging to the Abu Abdo family in the Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.

Further casualties were reported in Al-Maghazi camp, in central Gaza, where five individuals were killed and others injured in a strike near the Shomar factory.

In another incident, Abdul-Rahman Abu Kamil was killed in an Israeli attack in Az-Zahra, northwest of Al-Nuseirat camp, while strikes on Al-Zawaida town also left four dead and several wounded, in central Gaza.

Earlier in the day, Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling struck Deir Al-Balah and Al-Nuseirat, killing five Palestinians and wounding more.

In Deir Al-Balah, an airstrike on a local cafeteria resulted in four fatalities and multiple injuries.

Another artillery attack targeted a gathering of displaced individuals northwest of Al-Nuseirat camp, killing one person and wounding others.

Reports indicate that Israeli drones opened fire on “Block 1” in Al-Bureij refugee camp, injuring numerous civilians.

In southern Gaza, Khan Younis was also hit with missiles and shells, killing three Palestinians, including two children.

Medical sources confirmed that the army targeted civilians near Al-Kuwait Hospital in Mawasi Khan Younis, killing Mohammad Mousa Abu Mohsin Al-Baleeshy, 22, Qassem Thiab Barhoum, 16, and Nour Najeh Al-Jazzar.

In a major political development, the United States has revoked the legal immunity of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), allowing lawsuits against the agency in U.S. courts. The decision is tied to unproven allegations that some UNRWA employees were involved in the October 7, 2023, attacks.

The policy shift raises concerns over the future of UNRWA, which provides essential services to millions of Palestinian refugees across Gaza, the West Bank—including Jerusalem—and neighboring Arab countries.

Legal challenges and potential funding cuts could severely disrupt operations, exacerbating an already dire humanitarian crisis.

The suspension of U.S. financial support earlier this year had already strained UNRWA’s ability to function, and additional legal barriers may further cripple its ability to deliver aid.

While proponents argue that stricter oversight is necessary, critics warn that dismantling or restricting UNRWA’s services could intensify suffering among civilians and contribute to further instability.

The Health Ministry in Gaza reported that at least 27 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured on Saturday alone as Israeli strikes continued across the territory.

Overall, Israeli attacks have claimed the lives of at least 51,305 Palestinians since October 7, 2023. Among the slain Palestinians are about 15,626 children, 9,807 women, 235 journalists, and 23 medics.

Additionally, at least 116,931 Palestinians have been injured, most of them women, children, and the elderly. Officials report that approximately 11,160 Palestinians remain missing under the rubble.
