Israeli forces carried out a series of airstrikes, artillery bombardments, and naval shelling across the Gaza Strip on Sunday, killing four Palestinians and injuring several others, according to medical and field sources.
Artillery fire targeted the eastern edges of the Tuffah and Zeitoun neighborhoods in Gaza City, accompanied by heavy gunfire from military vehicles.
Warplanes also struck multiple areas east of the Al‑Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, while additional airstrikes hit locations southwest of Rafah in the southern part of the enclave.
In northern Gaza, Israeli aircraft launched strikes and carried out building demolitions east of Jabalia and Beit Lahia, alongside sustained artillery shelling. Israeli naval vessels fired several shells toward coastal areas in the northern Strip.
Medical sources reported that two Palestinians were killed on Sunday morning—one shot by Israeli forces in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City, and another who succumbed to wounds sustained in an Israeli strike on a gathering of civilians in Al‑Maghazi refugee camp on Saturday.
Later in the day, medical teams confirmed that the total number of Palestinians killed since dawn had risen to four, with two killed in the southern Gaza Strip and two in the north, including one who died of earlier injuries.
Ambulance crews also retrieved three wounded Palestinians from the Jabalia refugee camp area, in addition to others injured in Beit Lahia and Jabalia.
Fares Afana, Director of Emergency and Medical Services in Gaza, said Israeli forces continue to violate the ceasefire “every single day,” leaving civilians under constant fire across the Strip.
He confirmed that four Palestinians were killed today in Gaza City and other areas, and that emergency teams transported multiple wounded individuals, including a civilian shot in the back in Jabalia refugee camp.
Afana added that Israeli snipers are still targeting residents inside Gaza City, while additional fatalities were reported in the south and in the Sanafor area.
He stressed that ambulance crews continue to receive urgent calls from residents reporting injuries and bodies, as attacks persist without interruption.

The overall death toll from Israel’s assault on Gaza has climbed to 71,412 Palestinians, with 171,314 wounded since 7 October 2023, the majority of whom are children, women, and the elderly.
Many victims remain under the rubble or in areas rescue teams cannot reach due to ongoing bombardment and the destruction of access routes.
