In Bethlehem, troops stormed homes in the towns of Al-Khader and Beit Fajjar, south of the city, and detained ten Palestinians, including a father and his son.
Media sources reported that the soldiers abducted As’ad Sa’id Sbeih, Ayham Ahmad Sbeih, Mohammad Abu Zeid, Ibrahim Abu Al-Hawa, Addal Abu Ramdan, Othman Jom’a Salah, and Ahmad Ali Issa, along with Ibrahim Marzouq Salah and his son Mohammad in Al-Khader. Additionally, they detained 17-year-old Humam Ali Taqatqa from Beit Fajjar.
In Ramallah, in central West Bank, soldiers raided Kobar town, northwest of the city, searching homes and detaining two young men, Anas Mashal Barghouthi and Qasam Abdul-Salam Barghouthi.
The army also stormed Birzeit, Silwad, Bil’in, Kharbatha Bani Hareth, and Jabal At-Tawil in nearby Al-Bireh city, along with Al-Jalazone refugee camp, ransacking homes and apartments.
Additionally, Israeli forces sealed off the entrance to Turmus Ayya town, north of Ramallah, by closing a gate installed a month earlier.
The closure prevents Palestinians from crossing, cutting off a vital road used by thousands of residents traveling between northern West Bank villages and other areas.
In Tulkarem, northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded Anabta town, east of the city, searched several homes, and detained two Palestinians, Mohammad Bilal Abu Al-‘Awn and Raed Ammar Barakat.
Troops also stormed Ektaba suburb in northeastern Tulkarem, raiding homes and arresting former political prisoner Sa’ad Othman Beseis.
Earlier Tuesday, soldiers invaded Al-‘Ein refugee camp in Nablus, in the northern West Bank, and shot a 62-year-old Palestinian man, wounding him with live ammunition in the leg.
While exact numbers remain unknown due to Israeli restrictions and its refusal to cooperate with international human rights groups, some reports indicate that about 21,000 Palestinians are held captive by Israel, including 3,405 held under the arbitrary “Administrative Detention” without charges or trial, 350 children, and 87 women, in addition to more than 1,886 detains from Gaza classified as “unlawful combatants” without evidence or trial.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli soldiers and paramilitary colonizers have killed 981 Palestinians, including 199 children, 21 women, 15 elderly individuals, one journalist, and two medics, while injuring at least 7,000 others, including children and women, across the occupied West Bank.
In the Gaza Strip, Israeli has now killed at least 53,581 Palestinians, including more than 15,626 children, 9,808 women, and 245 journalists, with more than 121,398 injured, largely women and children, across the coastal region.
These figures are not final, as approximately 11,160 Palestinians remain missing, many trapped under rubble or stranded in areas inaccessible to rescue teams.
