Between Wednesday evening and Thursday night, Israeli forces abducted at least twenty-three Palestinian citizens in various regions of the occupied West Bank.

Jenin

On Thursday night, occupation forces abducted the young man, Mohammad Nabil Qabha when he tried to pass through the Barta’a military roabdlock, northwest of Jenin in the northern West Bank.

Nablus

In the northern West Bank city of Nablus, the army invaded and searched the homes of former prisoner, Assem Al-Shami and Kamel Abu Zant, before abducting them.

It was added that occupation forces stole an unspecified sum of money from the home of Kamel Abu Zant.

Occupied Jerusalem

On Wednesday evening, Israeli forces assaulted several Palestinian young men in occupied Jerusalem, and abducted 4 unidentified young men, before transferring them to the Salah al-Din Street police station.

Bethlehem

In the Bethlehem governorate, in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted Majdi Ismail Al-Ajdal and Ahmed Jamal Ayesh, after breaking into and searching their homes.

Hebron

At dawn on Thursday, Israeli soldiers stormed and searched many citizens’ homes and abducted twelve Palestinians in the Hebron governorate, in the southern occupied West Bank.

The army abducted Dhafer Al-Jundi, Bahaa Jawabra, Ammar Saeed Awad, Abu Youssef Maria, 18, Baraa Jawad Hoshiyeh, Ismail Abu Aram, Ghassan Nawaj’a, Rizq Kayed Abu Hajjah Masalmeh, Yazan Mutawae Masalmeh, Wijdan Masalmeh, Hamad Khalil Masalmeh, and Youssef Yasser Masalmeh.

Later, soldiers abducted the young man, Mustafa Youssef Al-Qassas, at a military roadblock in the Old City of Hebron, in addition to Ibrahim Jihad Murr, south of the city.

According to the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), Israeli forces have abducted 7,725 Palestinians since the beginning of the military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
