Israeli forces stormed many towns and villages in various regions of the occupied West Bank, on Sunday, assaulted citizens, confiscated vehicles, and abducted 25 Palestinians, including a child.

Jenin

In the predawn hours of Sunday Israeli forces in several military vehicles stormed the city of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank, from several directions.

The army positioned sharpshooters on the rooftops of high-rise buildings, and firing live rounds at citizens, while a reconnaissance drone flew over the city and its refugee camp.

Armed Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading army. No injuries were reported.

After invading and ransacking the home of Muhammad Moatasem Al-Ahmad, soldiers abducted him.

Southwest of Jenin, soldiers stormed the town of Silat Al-Dhahr and set up a military checkpoint at its entrance on Sunday evening, triggering protests.

Occupation forces fired concussion grenades and tear gas canisters at citizens, and abducted the young man, Ahmed Youssef Hantouli.

It was added that soldiers seized a Palestinian-owned vehicle in the town of Ya’bad, west of the city.

On Sunday evening, the army stormed the village of Zububa, northwest of Jenin and launched a massive search campaign, while local Palestinians protested the incursion.


The army also set up a military checkpoint at the entrance to the nearby village of Rummanah.

Earlier, soldiers opened fire at Palestinian farmers who were picking olives on their lands located behind the Apartheid Wall, in the village of Al-Jalamah, north of the city

Tulkarem

On Sunday night Israeli forces stormed the town of Qaffin, northeast of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank, deploying foot patrols while military vehicles roamed the streets, and firing many live rounds.


Meanwhile, on Sunday evening the army abducted Ahmed Wael Abu Hantash, 19, near the “Jubara” military roadblock, southeast of Tulkarem.

Qalqilia

On Sunday afternoon Israeli forces abducted the child, Qais Imad Shteiwi, 17, and the young man, Hassan Nasser Shteiwi, 24, from the village of Kufur Qaddoum, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

Jericho

Israeli soldiers, on Sunday morning, stormed the Ein Sultan camp northwest of Jericho in the Jordan Valley.

They besieged the home of Kayed Abu Shihab before abducting him, in addition to invading and searching the home of Ayoub al-Hindi, while assaulting his wife, before abducting him.

Ramallah

The army stormed, on Sunday morning, the town of Beit Rima, northwest of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank and closed the main entrance to the town.

They proceeded to abduct Majdi Munir Rahimi, Anas Hassan Barghouthi, the wounded young man, Muayyad Khaled Barghouthi, Abdul Latif Abdul Salam Rahimi, Ali Fadi Akl, Amjad Walid Barghouthi, Maher Kamal Al-Rimawi, Tim Fayez Al-Rimawi, and Thaer Adel Al-Asmar.

Occupied Jerusalem

Northeast of occupied Jerusalem, occupation soldiers stormed the town of Hizma on Sunday evening, assaulted several citizens and erected a military roadblock at the entrance of the town, obstructing citizen’s ability to enter or leave the town.

Bethlehem

Northeast of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, Israeli troops assaulted and abducted Wissam Dhiyab Abu Srour, 42, and Anas Ezzat Abu Dayyah, 24, at the “Container” military roadblock on Sunday.

On Sunday evening the army invaded the town of Husan, west of Bethlehem, leading to protests.

Soldiers fired live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters at citizens while occupying the rooftops of homes, turning them into military barracks.

More protests erupted when the army stormed the Aida refugee camp, north of Bethlehem and closed all its entrances on Sunday evening.

Soldiers fired live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters, and abducted Anas Nasrallah, after raiding and searching his family home.

Hebron

The Israeli army invaded the village of Qilqis, south of the southern West Bank city of Hebron on Sunday morning.

Soldiers abducted the brothers, Moataz and Yasser Samir “Samur” Abu Sneina, in addition to the brothers Naseem and Muhammad Nasser Abu Sneina, after assaulting and humiliating them.

In Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, soldiers broke into and ransacked several citizens’ homes and confiscated a vehicle belonging to the citizen Mahmoud Khalil Abu Aram on Sunday evening.

It was added that the army abducted the brothers, Khaled and Hani Khalil Abu Aram, while they were herding sheep.

Furthermore, on Sunday evening occupation forces stormed the Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron.

Soldiers fired tear gas canisters and concussion grenades, causing several citizens, including children to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.

Local medics treated those who sustained inhalation injuries at the scene.

Earlier Sunday, the army abducted a Palestinian in occupied Jerusalem, one in Bethlehem, and 23 in Hebron, bringing the total number of citizens abducted on Sunday to 50.
