Late Monday, Israeli soldiers abducted a Palestinian who allegedly rammed soldiers with his car, wounding two, when the army invaded Huwwara town, south of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
Israeli sources said the Palestinian injured two soldiers before fleeing the area, adding that one suffered moderate injuries and the second was lightly wounded.
The soldiers initiated a search in the area, abducted the driver, and allegedly “found a knife in the car” without elaborating on the issue.
The army closed the town, installed barriers, severely restricted the movement of the locals, and prevented Palestinian journalists from documenting the unfolding events.
