Israeli forces abducted, on Wednesday, two young men from the central West Bank cities of Ramallah & Al-Biereh, and six in the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
JENIN
At dawn Wednesday, Israeli forces invaded the villages of Arabbuna, Faqqu’a, and Jalbun, northeast and east of Jenin in the northern West Bank.
In Faqqu’a, local Palestinians protested the incursion, while soldiers fired live rounds at them; no injuries were reported.
In Arabbuna, an infantry unit was deployed while soldiers set up ambushes to capture Palestinians during their search campaign; there were no reports of arrests.
While continuing its siege on the village in Jalbun, the army stormed the village and occupied the home of the citizen, Rafi’ Rafiq Abu Al-Rub.
RAMALLAH & AL-BIEREH
On Wednesday morning, Israeli forces abducted Islam Jihad Maadi, while he was passing through a flying military roadblock at the entrance to the town of Kafr Malek, northeast of Ramallah in the central West Bank.
East of Ramallah, the army abducted, at dawn on Wednesday, a Palestinian young man in the city of Al-Biereh, after invading and searching his home.
Media sources said that Mutasim Munther Ramadan was abducted by Israeli forces after they broke into his home in the “Umm Al-Sharayet” neighborhood
HEBRON
In the southern West Bank, soldiers stormed the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron, on Wednesday morning, and abducted six Palestinians, including a former prisoner.
Media sources said that occupation forces abducted Majdi Ali Abu Warda, former prisoner, Tariq Abu Hammad, the two brothers, Basil and Shadi Al-Wawi, Ibrahim Mustafa Abu Awad, and Mahmoud Al-Qawasmi.
According to a joint statement by the Prisoners’ Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), the arrests between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning were distributed among the governorates of Hebron, Qalqilia, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Tubas, Nablus, Jericho, and Jerusalem.
