On Thursday at dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted four Palestinians, including one woman, in the Nablus Governorate, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources reported that numerous military vehicles invaded several neighborhoods in Nablus before the soldiers stormed and ransacked homes.
The sources added that the soldiers abducted two former political prisoners, Jihad Eyad Al-Ahmad and Omar Mansour, from their homes on Asir and Ibin Roshod streets in the city.
Additionally, the soldiers invaded the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, broke into and searched a few homes in the Al-Hashashin neighborhood, and abducted Nasser Hashash.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded the village of Airsa Ash-Shamaliya, north of Nablus, searched homes, and abducted Islam Al-Halabi, the wife of political prisoner Eyab Al-Halabi, from her home.
In Bethlehem, Israeli soldiers have continued for the third consecutive day to close the entrance to the village of Al-Manshiya, south of the city.
Media sources stated that the soldiers continue to block the entrance to Al-Manshiya, which is the only road connecting the southern countryside to the city of Bethlehem and its center.
The Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission reported that the total number of military roadblocks and iron gates installed by the Israeli army in the West Bank has reached 898. This includes 18 iron gates erected since the beginning of this year, with 146 added after October 7, 2023.
The closure of this vital road continues to severely impact the daily lives of the residents, exacerbating the situation in the region.
