On Thursday, Israeli soldiers abducted five Palestinian citizens, including a child, in the cities of Jenin, Nablus, and Jericho, in the northern and northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.

In the northern occupied West Bank, Israeli forces invaded, on Thursday morning, the towns and villages of Arraba, Kafr Ra’i, Silat ad-Dhahr, Fahma, ‘Anin, and Tura al-Gharbiya, in the Jenin governorate.

Media sources said that occupation forces conducted a wide-scale search campaign in these areas, and erected a military roadblock at the entrance to the town of Ya’bad, west of Jenin.

It was added that soldiers abducted the young man, Abdel Rahman Shamali, an employee of an exchange shop, after storming his home in the village of Kafr Ra’i, southwest of Jenin.

Before dawn on Thursday, Israeli forces invaded the city of Tubas, in the northeastern part of the West Bank, sparking protests among local Palestinians.


Media sources said that the army stormed the city from its eastern entrance, roamed many neighborhoods, and broke into several citizen’s homes.


During the incursion, soldiers invaded and searched the home of Sameh Alyan Sawafta, 24, before abducting him.

Meanwhile, soldiers invaded, before dawn Thursday, the northern West Bank city of Nablus, stormed the “Gulf Exchange” shop, and abducted one of its employees, identified as Muawiya Shawqi.

On Thursday afternoon, soldiers abducted Gharib Muhannad Hawari, 19, in the town of Huwwara, south of Nablus, and the child, Rawhi Abdel Fattah Awad, 16, in the town of Awarta, southeast of the city, after storming and searching their homes.

Before dawn on Thursday, the army invaded the city of Jericho, in the northeastern part of the West Bank, and deployed soldiers among commercial shops on Bank Street.
