Israeli forces abducted, on Wednesday, seventeen Palestinian citizens in several regions of the occupied West Bank, and seized privately-owned vehicles.

Tulkarem

In the predawn hours, Israeli forces abducted Imad Sarsak, when he tried to pass through a flying military roadblock, south of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the West Bank.

In the Tulkarem governorate, Israeli forces stormed and searched, at dawn, many homes in the city of Tulkarem, in addition to the suburbs of Khirbet at-Tayyah and Iktaba, and abducted three young men.

In the city of Tulkarem, soldiers abducted Moataz Shreiteh (Al-Taher), in addition to Ahmed Al-Qasim (Balaawi) and Mounir Balaawi from the Khirbet at-Tayyah suburb.

It was added that the army invaded many homes in the Iktaba suburb, conducted a wide-scale search operation, and interrogated their residents.

In the evening, Israeli forces invaded the village of Shufa and abducted a teacher at Shufa Secondary School for Boys, identified as Tamer Droubi.

Media sources added that Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters at citizens and their homes, detained several young men for many hours, checked their ID cards, and interrogated them.

Qalqilia

In the Qalqilia governorate, in the northwestern part of the West Bank, Israeli forces invaded and searched, at dawn, many homes in the towns of Habla and Azzun, and abducted two Palestinians.

At dawn, soldiers stormed and ransacked homes in the town of Habla and abducted Uday Mardawi and Omar Kharoub.

Tubas

In the northern Jordan Valley, Israeli soldiers abducted a resident of Tammun town in the Tubas governorate, in the northeastern part of the West Bank.

Israeli forces abducted Darwish Abdel Rahim Bisharat, 43, while he was near the “Hamra” military roadblock, on Wednesday evening.

Ramallah

In the morning, Israeli forces abducted six Palestinians, including a former prisoner, after invading many homes in the Ramallah governorate, in the central occupied West Bank.

Israeli soldiers abducted Muhammad Ahmad al-Khatib in Beitunia town, in addition to Ahmad Muhammad Alqam, and Ahmad Firas al-Hajj, 20, in Beit Sira village.

In the village of Deir Ghassana, the army abducted the former prisoner, Omar Nahed Al-Barghouthi, 53, in addition to Louay Zuhair Al-Barghouthi, 48, and Muhannad Saeed Al-Barghouthi, 52, in the village of Kafr Ein.

Occupied Jerusalem

North of occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces closed the Qalandia military roadblock in both directions, on Wednesday afternoon, and abducted a young man.


Soldiers chased a vehicle in the Beit Hanina neighborhood, and abducted an unidentified Palestinian, claiming he carried out a stabbing attack in the illegal “Neve Yaqoub” colony.

Bethlehem

In the southern West Bank, occupation forces invaded, at dawn, the village of Al-Asakra, east of Bethlehem, stormed many homes, confiscated several vehicles, and abducted Muhammad Ali Asakra.

Meanwhile, soldiers abducted the young man, Hassan Hassan in the city of Bethlehem.

According to the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), Israeli forces have abducted 7,450 Palestinians since the beginning of the military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.

In related news, Israeli forces abducted 9 Palestinians in the southern West Bank governorate of Hebron, and seized several vehicles.
