Israeli occupation soldiers invaded, on Friday, several towns and villages in various regions of the West Bank, stormed many citizens’ homes, abducted at least three Palestinians, and injured others.
Qalqilia
Before dawn on Friday, Israeli forces invaded the villages of Baqat al-Hatab and Hajjah, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the West Bank.
In Baqat al-Hatab, soldiers fired concussion grenades at citizens’ homes, and ripped down posters memorializing slain Palestinians and detainees, while Israeli military vehicles stormed Hajjah village.
On Friday afternoon, Israeli forces invaded Kufur Qaddoum village, east of Qalqilia during the weekly anti-settlement procession.
Media sources said that dozens of soldiers stormed the village, fired live rounds at local Palestinians and citizens’ homes; no injuries were reported.
It was added that the army broke into several homes, detained their inhabitants and confiscated their cell phones, while sharpshooters were positioned on their rooftops to use as firing posts.
Nablus
In the northern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted Kamel Nizam al-Saadi, a Palestinian citizen of Jenin at the “Shafi Shomron” military roadblock northwest of Nablus.
During the aggression against the town of Beita, south of Nablus, Israeli soldiers invaded several citizens’ homes and abducted Issam Hamayel, after assaulting him.
Also in Beita town, Israeli forces shot and killed the Palestinian child, Moaz Ashraf Falih Bani Shamsa, 17, after shooting him with a live round in the chest.
Ramallah
On Friday afternoon, the Israeli army invaded Nabi Saleh village, northwest of Ramallah in the central West Bank, sparking protests.
At the same time that Muslim worshipers were exiting the local mosque, soldiers fired live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters at citizens.
Furthermore, Palestine TV reported that an infantry unit abducted the young man, Safwat Al-Tamimi.
The same source reported that armed resistance fighters exchanged fire with the army after they stormed the town of Silwad, northeast of Ramallah.
Bethlehem
In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the town of Beit Fajjar, southwest of Bethlehem and fired concussion grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens’ homes.
Several Palestinians sustained inhalation injuries and they received first aid treatment at the scene.
Hebron
Before dawn on Friday, Israeli soldiers infiltrated the town of Bani Na’im, east of the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
Military vehicles stormed the town while soldiers roamed the vicinity of homes in many neighborhoods.
South of the city, soldiers stormed Yatta town, roamed neighborhoods and broke into several citizens’ homes.
In related news, the occupation army abducted seven Palestinians in the Ramallah governorate, including two former political prisoners, and four in the Tulkarem governorate, including a journalist, in the central and northwestern parts of the West Bank, respectively.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) and the Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs reported, on Friday, that the Israeli army has abducted about 6,940 Palestinian citizens since October 7, 2023, and includes those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were detained.
