On Wednesday dawn, Israeli soldiers assassinated six young Palestinian men in Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank, after firing a missile from a drone at them, also wounding at least four, including three who suffered serious wounds.

Sources at the Thabet Thabet Hospital in Tulkarem have confirmed that the missile from the Israeli drone killed six Palestinians and injured several others, three seriously.

The sources added that many ambulances rushed to the refugee camp but were stopped by the soldiers and were prevented from entering it for more than one hour before they started treating the wounded and moved them along with the slain Palestinians to the hospital. One of the wounded Palestinians, 24 years of age, suffered a profoundly serious injury to the head.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the soldiers stopped one of its ambulances, transporting three seriously wounded Palestinians, and held it for about 65 minutes.

The slain Palestinians have been officially identified as Ahmad Nour Hamarsha, 19, Ahmad Abdul-Rahman Issa, 19, Adham Mohammad Fahmawi, 23, Yazan Ahmad Wahid Fahmawi, 23, Fares Husam Fahmawi, 29, and Hamza Ahmad Mustafa Fahmawi, 17.

The head of the Doctors Syndicate in Tulkarem, Radwan Bleibleh, said that a soldier stabbed one of the injured Palestinians inside an ambulance and added that the soldiers assaulted several injured Palestinians by beating them with the rifles in addition to kicking and punching them while threatening to kill them.

The Israeli army also fired a missile at an abandoned house in the Employees Housing Project area in Ektaba Suburb and fired barrages of live rounds at a car parked in front of the bombed home.

Palestinian political factions, local institutions, and social and religious figures declared a comprehensive strike Wednesday to mourn the slain Palestinians, and to condemn the escalating Israeli crimes and violations against the Palestinian people.

Many Israeli military vehicles, including bulldozers, invaded Tulkarem from its western area and drove through various neighborhoods, while more vehicles headed to the refugee camp and surrounded the Al-Manshiyya area.

The soldiers also stormed and ransacked many homes, especially in Al-Manshiyya, Al-Mahjar, Al-Joura, Ad-Damj, and Jabal An-Nasr areas, and interrogated dozens of Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.

In addition, the army occupied rooftops of tall buildings, especially overlooking the refugee camp, and used them as monitoring towers and sniper posts while military bulldozers destroyed streets and infrastructure, in addition to public and private property.

On Tuesday night, dozens of soldiers invaded Tulkarem city and Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem, and conducted massive searches.

In the prolonged incursion, Israeli soldiers invaded the city of Tulkarem, the Nur Shams refugee camp, and several towns near the city, bombed two buildings, injured two young men, and abducted one.

The army also caused power blackouts, in addition to disrupting cellphone and telecommunications coverages.
