Israeli soldiers demolished, on Wednesday, ten commercial installations in the town of Hizma, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

The Mayor of Hizma, Nofan Salahuddin, told the WAFA News Agency that the Israeli military bulldozers demolished the ten Palestinian-owned commercial sheds on the main street in Hizma.

He stated that the sheds are the sole source of livelihood to thirteen families and added that the structures were demolished for the first time two months ago, before the Palestinians rebuilt them.

During the demolition, the soldiers assaulted several Palestinian journalists to prevent them from documenting the violations.

Salahuddin also said the army intends to demolish all commercial sheds in the areas on the outskirts of the town for being installed without permits from the illegal occupation authorities.
