Israeli forces on Thursday demolished a vacation home and a residential apartment in the village of Ezbet Salman, south of Qalqilia, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.
Media sources said many military vehicles, including bulldozers, invaded the city, before demolished a vacation rental home, covering approximately 1.5 dunams, owned by Palestinian resident Abdullah Odah.
The sources added that the soldiers also demolished a 150-square-meter apartment belonging to Hussam Abu al-Sheikh from Qalqilia city.
The demolitions were reportedly carried out on the grounds that the structures were built in Area C of the occupied West Bank, which is under full Israeli administrative and military control.
The army claimed that the buildings, licensed by the related Palestinian departments, were not permitted by the so-called “Civil Administration Office,” the administrative branch of the illegal Israeli occupation.
