Israeli forces detonated, on Thursday, the family apartment of the slain Palestinian, Fadi Jamjoum, in the Shu’fat refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.
On Thursday morning, Israeli forces stormed the Shu’fat refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, and surrounded a residential building.
The eighth floor apartment of the slain man, Fadi Jamjoum, was wired with explosives after the family were removed from the home.
All residents of the 30 apartments in the building were forced to evacuate the building prior to detonation.
During the operation, media sources said that soldiers occupied the rooftops of tall buildings in the vicinity of the home, and that several young men were abducted.
On Thursday afternoon, the army detonated the apartment of the slain Jamjoum, leaving his wife and four children homeless.
According to the Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Jerusalem (Silwanic), Israeli forces heavily fired tear gas during the operation; no injuries were reported.
Fadi Jamjoum, 37, was shot dead on February 16, 2024, after he allegedly carried out a shooting attack in Gedera, in central Israel, which killed two Israelis and injured four others.
In related news, the Israeli army assaulted, on Thursday, a Palestinian young man at the entrance to the town of Anata, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, causing him various injuries.
Media sources said that soldiers forced an unidentified young man out of his vehicle, before detaining and assaulting him at a flying military roadblock near the entrance to the town.
