On Friday evening, Israeli soldiers invaded the eastern neighborhood of Jenin in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, displacing many families before occupying their homes and using the properties as military posts, in preparation for a larger military offensive.

Local sources said dozens of soldiers invaded the neighborhood, stormed and ransacked homes, and started forcing the families out.

They added that Palestinian ambulances transported many families, especially those with infants and children, out of the area after the army ordered their displacement.

The Israeli military forced the Palestinians to evacuate their homes and told them that the army would be operating in the area for ten days.

It is worth mentioning that over the three days, the Palestinians have been denied water and food after the army occupied their homes in the eastern neighborhood while the army also invaded several parts of Jenin, causing damage to homes, streets, and infrastructure.

The soldiers also detained and interrogated many Palestinians, including children and teenage boys, before displacing the families and ordering them to walk through the mountain to leave the area.

The Israeli army caused excessive damage to the invaded homes, especially those the army occupied for two days before ordering the families out, and caused the families, especially the children, to suffer severe anxiety attacks.

Earlier Friday, the soldiers killed an elderly Palestinian man, Tawfiq Ahmad Younis Qandeel, 83, and injured at least six others, during the army’s continued aggression against the northern West Bank city of Jenin and its camp, for the third consecutive day.

Before dawn, Friday,  the Israeli military assassinated three Palestinian young men in the town of Zababda, south of Jenin.

The three slain young men were identified as Maysara Suleiman Abdul Masharqa, 33, Arafat Jasser Ahmad Amer, 27, and Wissam Ayman Zidan Khazem, 30.

On Thursday, Israeli forces assassinated three Palestinian young men, Majd Majed Rajeh Daoud, 22, Mohammad Samer Jaber (Abu Shuja’), 25, and Mohammad Tawfiq Sa’ad Awfi, 26, and abducted an injured young man, in the Tulkarem refugee camp, in the city of Tulkarem, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

On Thursday morning, Israeli soldiers shot and killed a Palestinian man in Jenin, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part; his death brings the number of slain Palestinians in the West Bank in three days to 18 (August 27-29).

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has confirmed that Mohammad Bassam Orabi, 32, was killed by Israeli army fire.

It is worth mentioning that, late on Monday night, August 26, illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers killed Khalil Salem Khalil Ziyada, 40, and moderately injured three in Wad Rahhal village, south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.

Israel has now killed 672 Palestinians, including 152 children, 9 women, 9 elders, 1 journalist, 2 medics, and 13 political prisoners, from the occupied West Bank, since October 7. 2023.

In the Gaza Strip, Israel has now killed more than 40.602 Palestinians, including 16.589 children and 11.207 women, and injured at least 93.855, mostly children, women, and elderly, in addition to the thousands who remain under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings, on destroyed streets and in alleys, the streets, while rescue teams have been unable to reach them.
