Israeli forces ordered a Palestinian citizen to demolish his home under threat, on Friday evening, in the town of Kafr ‘Aqab, north of occupied Jerusalem.
Media sources said that occupation forces compelled the citizen, Sufyan Al-Lawzi, to demolish his family’s home in Kafr ‘Aqab under the threat of arrest and excessive fines, under the pretext of building without a permit.
Sources added that soldiers, giving Al-Lawzi only 30 minutes notice, forced him to knock down his home which consisted of only two rooms, after threatening to arrest him, his three brothers, and his 10-year-old son.
The army also forced Al-Lawzi to remove the rubble after his home was destroyed for the alleged purpose of “preserving nature”.
Meanwhile, on Friday evening, Israeli forces invaded a wedding hall in the town of Al-Eizariya, east of occupied Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that heavily armed Israeli police stormed a wedding hall in the town of Al-Eizariya during a wedding reception, detained guests, and opened fire with concussion grenades; no injuries or arrests were reported.
