Israeli soldiers attacked, Friday, the weekly procession in Kufur Qaddoum town, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia, and injured three Palestinians.
Morad Eshteiwi, the media coordinator of the Popular Committee in Qalqilia, said the Palestinians marched from the center of the town while carrying Palestinian flags and chanting against the ongoing Israeli occupation and escalating violations.
He added that the soldiers attacked the protesters with rubber-coated steel bullets and concussion grenades, wounding three young men with rubber-coated steel bullets.
During last week’s protests, the soldiers injured eight Palestinians and caused many to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation in the town.
The Palestinians have been holding weekly processions for the last eighteen years, demanding the army to reopen the village’s main road which was blockaded to allow easy access to the illegal colonizers, driving to and from Kedumim illegal colony, which was built on stolen Palestinian lands.
