Israeli forces carried out invasions across several occupied West Bank communities on Saturday, abducting Palestinians, breaking into homes, and firing tear gas and live rounds.
In al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah in the central West Bank, several Palestinians, including children, suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation after Israeli soldiers invaded the village and fired gas canisters into residential areas.
In the nearby Shuab al-Louz area, northwest of al-Mughayyir, local sources said Israeli colonizers attempted to break into several homes. The sources added that soldiers then invaded the area and provided protection for the assailants.
Colonizers also attacked Palestinian vehicles in the Marj Si’ plain east of al-Mughayyir, along the road leading to the nearby village of Abu Falah. Residents confronted the colonizers, and no injuries were reported.
Israeli soldiers later invaded al-Mughayyir, deployed in several neighborhoods, fired live ammunition, and broke into a home.
In nearby Sinjil, northeast of Ramallah, colonizers invaded the northern outskirts of the town and released livestock among Palestinian homes.
Separately, Israeli forces invaded several villages west of Ramallah, including Kharbatha Bani Harith, Kafr Ni’ma, Bil’in and Deir Ibzi’. Additional invasions were reported in Nabi Saleh, Kafr Ein, Beit Rima and Deir Ghassana, northwest of Ramallah.
Elsewhere in the Ramallah governorate, soldiers fired live rounds near a wedding hall in Qarawat Bani Zeid, northwest of Ramallah, causing panic among residents. No injuries were reported.
Israeli troops also invaded Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah, where they deployed throughout the town and fired tear gas canisters. The army later invaded the neighboring village of Abu Falah.
In Jenin in the northern West Bank, local sources reported that Israeli forces abducted Ibrahim al-Baytawi, his wife and daughter after breaking into a residential building near the Arab American University.
The soldiers abducted also Shadi Oweis from the al-Marah neighborhood during a separate invasion of Jenin.
Local sources said the army also invaded Bir al-Basha village, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank, where soldiers broke into and searched several homes, vandalized property, and assaulted a number of residents.
In Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli soldiers abducted Bashar Odah after breaking into his home in the Shweika suburb.
In Qalqilia, in northwestern West Bank, several Israeli military vehicles invaded Jayyous town, northeast of the city and initiated searches.
In the Bethlehem governorate, Israeli soldiers invaded the Aida and al-Azza refugee camps north of Bethlehem, as well as al-Ubeidiya, Dar Salah, al-Shawawra, Za’tara and al-Khader. Soldiers patrolled streets and neighborhoods, and no abductions were reported.
The invasions later extended to occupied Jerusalem, where local sources reported that Israeli forces abducted Mahdi Jaber from Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The sources said soldiers assaulted him before abducting him in the Baten al-Hawa neighborhood.
Together, the military invasions and colonizer attacks affected communities across the occupied West Bank, with several incidents concentrated northeast of Ramallah. Residents there reported incursions and attacks targeting homes, vehicles, and agricultural land.
