Israeli violation continued across the Gaza Strip on Saturday, with artillery shelling, live fire, drone strikes, and intensive surveillance flights reported across the enclave. The attacks killed at least one Palestinian and wounded several others across the coastal enclave, as health officials warned of an unprecedented oxygen shortage threatening Gaza’s already devastated healthcare system.
A medical source reported that Mohammad Bashir Yousef Abu Armana, from Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, was killed by Israeli army gunfire Saturday evening northeast of the Nuseirat refugee camp.
Also, three Palestinians were injured, including one who sustained critical wounds, when an Israeli drone fired a missile at a man riding a motorcycle near the entrance of Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah.

Israeli artillery also shelled areas north of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, while renewed attacks targeted the eastern sections of Gaza City’s Zeitoun neighborhood.
In southern Gaza, several Palestinians were wounded after Israeli forces targeted densely populated areas in central Khan Younis. Another Palestinian was injured by Israeli army gunfire in the Al-Mawasi area.
In Gaza City, two Palestinians from the Zeitoun neighborhood were wounded by machine-gun fire from an Israeli military crane positioned east of the city.
A Palestinian child was also shot and injured in the Asqoula area south of Gaza City amid continuing Israeli gunfire targeting multiple locations.
In addition, Israeli military vehicles opened fire on eastern Jabalia in northern Gaza and on eastern areas of Khan Younis in the south.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army carried out six demolitions of buildings in northern Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
Separately, medical authorities in Gaza warned of an unprecedented health catastrophe due to the near-total depletion of the operational capacity of the territory’s remaining oxygen production facilities.
Health officials said the crisis stems from the ongoing siege and severe restrictions on the entry of medical supplies and equipment.
Only 12 of Gaza’s 34 oxygen-generation stations remain operational, functioning under extremely difficult technical conditions and unable to fully meet the needs of hospitals and medical service providers. The remaining facilities are operating beyond capacity while facing recurring mechanical failures.
Medical officials added that only four of Gaza’s 30 oxygen-cylinder filling units remain in service and could cease operations at any moment because maintenance cannot be performed due to shortages of resources and the continued denial of spare parts.

They stressed that oxygen remains a lifeline for critical hospital departments and for patients receiving treatment at home, calling for the immediate opening of crossings to allow the entry of technical equipment, spare parts, and new oxygen-generation stations to avert what they described as an imminent humanitarian disaster.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said Saturday that two Palestinians had been killed and 14 wounded during the previous 48 hours.
Civil defense crews recovered the remains of 12 Palestinians on Saturday from beneath the rubble of a home destroyed by Israeli forces during the genocide in the Zeitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
Abdullah Majdalawi, Director of Public Relations for Civil Defense in Gaza City, said rescue teams recovered the remains from the home of the Al-Batniji family in the Asqoula area of the Zeitoun neighborhood.
Majdalawi added that crews began work to recover additional bodies from the destroyed home of the Al-Maghribi family in the same area after completing operations at the Al-Batniji residence.
Civil defense teams have recently intensified efforts to recover bodies and human remains trapped beneath the rubble across the Gaza Strip.
Earlier this month, crews recovered the remains of 112 Palestinians from the Abu Sharia and Al-Hasaina families, who were killed in an Israeli strike that targeted a residential block in the Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
Since the “ceasefire” took effect on October 11, health authorities have recorded 1,262 Palestinians killed, 4,168 wounded, and 808 bodies recovered from previously inaccessible areas.
The cumulative toll since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza on October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,391 Palestinians killed and 174,280 wounded, the latest figures released by Health Ministry revealed.
A number of victims remain trapped beneath the rubble or lying in areas inaccessible to ambulance and civil defense crews.
