The Al-Quds Brigades said a force operating alongside the Israeli army, with support from Israeli military drones, abducted and killed its member Fadi Ali Al-Abadla in Al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis, on Friday. Elsewhere across the Gaza Strip, Israeli shelling, gunfire, and airstrikes killed one Palestinian and injured three others, including a child, according to local Palestinian sources.
Medical sources confirmed that Fadi Ali Al-Abadla was killed by Israeli gunfire in Al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, identified Fadi Ali Al-Abadla as a member of its Al-Qarara Battalion within the Khan Younis Brigade.

In a statement, the group said the force advanced along Al-Jmeiza Street in Al-Qarara at approximately 3:30 a.m. and abducted Fadi Ali Al-Abadla.
According to the statement, fighters detected the advancing force and engaged it at close range with explosives and medium-caliber weapons.
The clash left an unspecified number of force members killed or wounded, according to the statement. Israeli drones then intervened to support the force and secure its withdrawal from the area.
The Al-Quds Brigades said the force shot the abducted fighter, Fadi Ali Al-Abadla, killing him, and left his body at the scene before withdrawing with its wounded and dead personnel.
Elsewhere in Khan Younis, three Palestinians, including a child, were injured by Israeli gunfire near Hamad City, north of the city.
Israeli artillery shelled eastern areas of Khan Younis, while military vehicles opened heavy fire near the Al-Matahin area north of the city. Israeli forces also detonated buildings near the Bani Suheila roundabout east of Khan Younis.
In the central Gaza Strip, Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire toward northern areas of Al-Bureij refugee camp.
In Gaza City, an Israeli warplane carried out an airstrike near Mushtaha Street in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, east of the city, while Israeli artillery simultaneously shelled eastern districts.
Israeli military vehicles and drones also opened fire on residential homes in the Tuffah neighborhood northeast of Gaza City, while illumination flares were fired over the eastern section of the area.
Local sources reported intensive Israeli tank fire in the vicinity of the Sanafur area east of Gaza City, while Apache helicopters opened fire toward eastern areas of the city.
In the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City, an Israeli quadcopter drone opened fire on the area, while a similar drone fired east of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood north of Gaza City.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said Israeli attacks since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, have killed 1,338 Palestinians and wounded 4,429 others, and added that 815 bodies have been recovered during that period.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said that since October 7, 2023, Israeli attacks have killed 73,474 Palestinians and wounded 174,540 others.
