On Monday, Israeli soldiers invaded Tuqu town, southeast of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, and killed a Palestinian child.
Media sources said several army vehicles invaded the Khirbet Ad-Deir area in the village, leading to protests before the soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.
The head of Tuqu town council, Taiseer Abu Mfarreh, said the soldiers killed a child, Rani Yasser Khalaf Sha’er, 16, after shooting him with a live round.
He added that Palestinian medics rushed to the wounded child, but the soldiers did not allow them to approach him before he succumbed to his wounds.
The soldiers also caused dozens of Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation, cuts, and bruises.
The army closed all roads leading to the town and pushed more military vehicles into its various neighborhoods.
Earlier Monday, the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that Israeli soldiers killed a young man, Mo’taz Mahmoud Tbeish, after shooting him with a live round in the head in Doura town, southwest of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.
Also, medical sources have confirmed that the soldiers killed Tha’er Na’im Hammo, 21, in Al-Yamoun town, west of Jenin, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, after shooting him with live fire in the abdomen, causing extensive internal bleeding and organ damage.
