On Thursday evening, a Palestinian young man was shot and killed by Israeli forces, and two others were injured in the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, south of Jericho in the Jordan Valley.

According to Nasser Anani, the Director of the Jericho Hospital, Ibrahim Abdel Rahim Faris Qatash arrived to the hospital in critical condition after soldiers shot him in the head with live ammunition, before he succumbed to his wounds.

Anani added that a young man was shot in the upper extremities and a female sustained shrapnel wounds from live rounds.


Earlier, Israeli forces invaded the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, surrounded the Al-Ayouti family home and abducted the two brothers, Ammar and Hamdi Al-Ayouti.

The military incursion triggered protests among local Palestinians, while soldiers opened fire with live rounds.

Since wednesday evening, occupation forces have killed a total of eleven Palestinian men in the occupied West Bank, six of whom were killed by Israeli drone strikes.
