On Monday night and Tuesday dawn, Palestinian medical sources announced the death of four Palestinians, including a child, who were shot by Israeli army fire and added that more than ten Palestinians were injured when the army invaded Aqaba town, and nearby Tubas city, in the occupied West Bank’s northeastern part.

Several Israeli military vehicles invaded Aqaba town, leading to protests before the army fired barrages of live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced, at dawn Tuesday, the death of Nour Mohammad Yassin Al-Yassin, 19, and Ameed Yassin Ghannam, 19, after they succumbed to serious wounds when the soldiers shot them with live rounds.

It also said that the army invaded the area around the Turkish Governmental Hospital in Tubas, and fired many live rounds, killing a child, identified as Bilal Ezzeddin Sawafta, 14, from Tubas city.

The Health Ministry added that another Palestinian, Aysar Abu ‘Arra, 37, died on Monday night at the Turkish Hospital from serious wounds he suffered after a soldier shot him with a live round to the head in Aqaba.

Earlier, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the soldiers shot seven Palestinians with live rounds; two suffered serious wounds to the head and the chest, and a third Palestinian was shot in the chest, in addition to one who suffered fragment wounds to the eye, before they were all rushed to the Turkish Governmental Hospital.

The soldiers also surrounded a home in the town, leading to protests, and fired many live rounds, wounding at least three young men.

The incidents took place first after undercover Israeli soldiers infiltrated the town and surrounded a home before many army vehicles stormed the area.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) stated, at dawn Tuesday, that the soldiers abducted the head of its Tubas office, Kamal Bani Odah, in addition to abducting another Palestinian, Yassin Rassem Yassin, after shooting him inside a home they surrounded.
