Israeli occupation forces carried out widespread dawn invasions across the occupied West Bank on Saturday, breaking into homes, abducting residents, installing military roadblocks, and deploying large numbers of troops in towns, villages, and refugee camps from Jenin in the northern West Bank to Hebron in the southern West Bank.
In Jenin in the northern West Bank, soldiers invaded the village of ‘Anza south of the city at dawn, broke into several homes, searched them extensively, and seized jewelry and mobile phones, according to local sources.
In Nablus in the northern West Bank, troops conducted multiple early‑morning invasions targeting the Old City, the commercial market, the area surrounding Faisal Street, the al‑Ein refugee camp, and the vicinity of the Balata and New Askar refugee camps, in addition to al‑Mai Street. No abductions were reported during these attacks.
Later in the morning, military vehicles invaded the village of ‘Awarta south of Nablus, broke into several homes, searched them, damaged their contents, and held residents for prolonged periods.
In Ramallah in the central West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the village of al‑Mughayyir northeast of the city and abducted two brothers, 13‑year‑old Fathi and 15‑year‑old Mohammad Abdul‑Hamid Abu ‘Alia, after breaking into their home.
Troops also closed the village’s western entrance with a military roadblock. Local officials reported that illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers simultaneously invaded the village’s western farmland area.
In Salfit in the central West Bank, soldiers abducted Wadji Mohammad Ali Sabra, a resident of Bruqin, while he was present in the nearby town of Deir Ballut west of the governorate.
In Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces chased Palestinian laborers in the Wadi al‑Hummus area between Dar Salah east of Bethlehem and the occupied Jerusalem neighborhood of Sur Baher, firing tear gas and concussion grenades without causing reported injuries.
Later in the evening, troops installed a military roadblock at the western entrance to Bethlehem’s rural area, in the al‑Shuli location near the main access road to Battir, Nahalin, Husan, and Wadi Fukin, stopping vehicles, searching them, and examining residents’ identification cards, which caused heavy traffic congestion.
In Hebron in the southern West Bank, soldiers climbed onto the roof of a home in the village of Deir Razeh east of Dura.
Additional forces invaded the area surrounding the Roman Pool in the Al‑‘Arroub refugee camp north of Hebron, where protests erupted and troops fired concussion grenades.
Following the infiltration of an undercover unit into the town of Beit Ummar north of Hebron, larger military forces invaded the town and deployed across several neighborhoods.
These coordinated invasions reflect an ongoing escalation in Israeli military operations throughout the occupied West Bank, marked by home break‑ins, movement restrictions, and the growing presence of both Israeli forces and illegal paramilitary colonizers in multiple districts.
