Meanwhile, on Friday afternoon, occupation forces invaded the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah, which led to protests among local Palestinians.
Media sources said that soldiers fired tear gas canisters and concussion grenades at citizens, causing a fire to ignite on privately-owned Palestinian lands; no injuries were reported.
Furthermore, the army erected a flying military roadblock at the entrance to the town of Kafr Malek, northeast of Ramallah, on Friday afternoon.
Media sources said that Israeli soldiers set up a military roadblock in the town, stopped many citizens’ vehicles while inspecting their ID cards, and caused a major traffic jam.
