In the northern and central West Bank, Israeli forces shot and injured five Palestinian young men with live bullets, on Thursday, in the city of Nablus and the Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.

Before dawn on Thursday, Israeli forces invaded the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and stormed a home in the Rafidia area of the city, triggering protests.

Soldiers surrounded a residential building, interrogated a resident, and opened fore with live rounds, shooting a 23-year-old Palestinian man in the thigh with live ammunition.

Meanwhile, the army stormed the Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, before dawn on Thursday.

Media sources said that a large army force, accompanied by a military bulldozer, invaded the camp from several directions, while deploying soldiers in many neighborhoods.

It was added that the soldiers broke into several citizens’ homes, destroyed vehicles, and fired many live rounds towards citizens, shooting four young men with live ammunition.

The wounded young men were transported to hospital in Ramallah, where their conditions were deemed mild to moderate.

Soldiers also ransacked the home of the Aslan family, and stole approximately 8,000 shekels, in addition to storming and ransacking the homes of Farhan and Moataz Shaham in the camp.

Many military vehicles also invaded the nearby town of Kafr Aqab, roamed the streets without any reports of protests or injuries.

In related news, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man in the chest with live rounds in the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.

In the southern West Bank, the army caused many Palestinians to sustain inhalation injuries in Al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem.

Meanwhile, in the city of Al-Biereh, east of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, the army caused many Palestinians to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.
