Israeli forces shot and abducted an 8-year-old Palestinian child near Jericho, in the northeastern part of the West Bank, and shot three young men near Nablus in the northern West Bank.

On Monday evening, Israeli soldiers shot and abducted a child in the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, southwest of Jericho.

According to the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society in Jericho, Eid Barahma, Israeli soldiers shot the child, Joud Ashraf Walid Hamidat, 8, before abducting him and taking him to an unknown location.

The nature and severity of the child’s wounds was not known at the time of writing this report.

On Monday afternoon, the army shot at least three Palestinian young men and caused others to sustain inhalation injuries during an incursion into the town of Beit Furik, southeast of Nablus.

Media sources said that occupation forces stormed the town, which sparked protests among local Palestinian youths.

Soldiers fired many live rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades, shooting three young men with live ammunition, and causing several others to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.

One young man sustained a gunshot wound to his abdomen and two others sustained live bullet wounds in their feet; they were transported to a nearby medical center for treatment.

Furthermore, the army stormed, before dawn on Monday, the city of Tubas in the northeastern part of the West Bank, accompanied by a bulldozer and coinciding with the overhead flight of reconnaissance drones.

Media sources said that the army invaded the city from its eastern entrance, broke into and least one home, while local Palestinians protested the incursion.

In the afternoon, soldiers invaded the village of Jalboun, east of Jenin in the northern West Bank, and occupied a home, using it as a military barracks.

According to Ibrahim Abu Al-Rub, the head of the Jalboun Village Council, the army invaded the village and opened fire with live rounds and tear gas canisters towards citizens’ homes.

Abu Al-Rub added that the army deployed infantry units throughout the village’s neighborhoods, and carried out a search campaign.

He added that the army stormed and occupied the home of Tariq Muhammad Abd al-Razzaq Abu al-Rub, turning it into a military barracks.

The army withdrew from the home of Rafi’ Rafiq Abu Al-Rub near the basic girls’ school in the center of the village, after occupying it for 16 consecutive days.

In the northwestern part of the West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the village of Shufa, southeast of Tulkarem, and fired tear gas canisters at homes.

Late Monday afternoon, the army deployed infantry units in the streets, harassed citizens, while interrogating them, and inspecting their ID cards.

It was added that the army closed the southern entrance to the village, preventing citizens from entering or leaving.

Moreover, the occupation army invaded, on Monday night, the town of Deir Istiya, northwest of Salfit in the central occupied West Bank, and broke into citizens’ homes.

Media sources said that occupation forces fired concussion grenades while storming and ransacking homes, including that of the citizen, Youssef Salama Awad, while firing concussion grenades.
