On Thursday evening, Israeli soldiers shot two young men in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.
Local media activist Mohammad Ayyad Awad said several army jeeps invaded the town, especially the area near the Somoud Mosque, leading to protests before the soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.
Awad added that the soldiers shot a young man, 20, with a live round in the thigh and another Palestinian, 18, with a live round in the knee.
Palestinian medics rushed the two Palestinians, who suffered moderate wounds, to a clinic in the town.
Later on, the soldiers closed the iron gate at the town’s main entrance, preventing the Palestinians from entering or leaving it.
In related news, the soldiers abducted three Palestinians in the Al-‘Awja town, north of Jericho, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.
Furthermore, the army abducted a young man and injured several others in Ya’bad town, southwest of Jenin in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
On Thursday morning, Israeli soldiers and paramilitary colonizers uprooted hundreds of trees in Salfit in the central part of the occupied West Bank.
On Thursday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted at least ten Palestinians from several parts of the occupied West Bank.
