Illegal Israeli colonizers attacked, on Sunday, a Palestinian woman near Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, and assaulted a young man near the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

On Sunday afternoon, illegal Israeli colonizers attacked and injured a Palestinian woman while she was on her land in the Khirbet an-Nahla community near the village of Wadi Rahhal, south of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank.

According to Hasan Breijiyya, the head of the Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission in Bethlehem, a group of illegal Israeli colonizers brutally assaulted the 50-year-old woman, Kawkab Mustafa Ayesh.

Breijiyya added that the woman sustained fractures in her hands and feet as a result of the attack; she was transported to hospital in Bethlehem.

In related news, in the northern West Bank, Israeli paramilitary settlers searched and assaulted, on Sunday afternoon, a Palestinian citizen in the village of Bazzariya, northwest of Nablus.


Palestine TV published photos of vehicles damaged by rocks hurled by illegal settlers in the town of Sinjil, northeast of Ramallah, in the central occupied West Bank.


Meanwhile, in occupied Jerusalem, dozens of illegal Israeli colonizers, under the protection of occupation police, stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Sunday.

According to the Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Jerusalem (Silwanic), 67 colonizers invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday morning, and another 38 stormed the Islamic holy site in the afternoon.

Eyewitness reports revealed that groups of illegal settlers invaded the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed Talmudic rituals.

It is important to mention that extremist settler groups are calling for a major storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday, to commemorate Israel’s so-called “Independence Day”.
