Early Wednesday morning, a group of illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers assaulted several farmers in the village of Farkha, southwest of Salfit, in the central occupied West Bank.

Local sources stated that colonizers unleashed their sheep to graze in olive-planted fields in the “Safha” area west of the village, and that that, when the farmers intervened to prevent crop damage, they were assaulted in full view of Israeli soldiers.

Farkha has endured an escalating wave of colonizer violence over the past three years, resulting in the seizure of vast areas of village land—nearly 75% of its olive-cultivated terrain.

Palestinian farmers are barred from accessing these lands, amid clear complicity by the occupying forces.

Residents of Farkha have issued urgent warnings about the dangers posed by these continuous assaults, which threaten further loss of agricultural land and jeopardize the livelihoods of dozens of families.

Also on Tuesday, colonizers ravaged farmland in the town of Burqa, northwest of Nablus in the northern West Bank.

Local sources said the pre-dawn attack led to the destruction of crops spanning 24 dunams, along with irrigation networks and perimeter fencing.

On Tuesday night, a group of colonizers hurled stones at Palestinian vehicles near the illegal Gush Etzion colonial block and its security center, built on stolen Palestinian land south of Bethlehem, causing damage.
