On Wednesday, illegal Israeli colonizers assaulted a number of Palestinian citizens in the town of Bani Na’im, east of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank, and erected a tent and livestock pen in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

Illegal Israeli colonizers attacked, on Wednesday evening, Palestinian citizens in the town of Bani Na’im, east of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, injuring two people.

Media sources said that a group of illegal colonists assaulted a number of Palestinians in the “Yaqin” area of Bani Na’im, causing two citizens to sustain bruising.

Medical sources at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that their medics provided treatment to a number of citizens who were assaulted by Israeli settlers.

Meanwhile, south of Hebron, in Masafer Yatta, a group of colonizers erected, on Wednesday, a tent and a livestock pen on Palestinian-owned lands in the area.

Under the full protection of occupation soldiers, a number of settlers from the nearby illegal “Avigayil” colony, set up a tent and livestock pen on land owned by local Palestinian citizens.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states;

“The Occupying Power [ISRAEL] shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies [PALESTINE].”
