On Monday night, paramilitary illegal Israeli colonizers burnt an aid truck, and attacked several trucks, at the Tarqoumia terminal, where dozens of soldiers are stationed, west of Hebron in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.
Media sources said the colonizers attacked many humanitarian aid trucks, trying to send aid to the destroyed and impoverished Gaza Strip before the colonizers attacked them and burnt one truck.
Israeli soldiers at the terminal forced seven additional aid trucks to leave the area, instead of removing the Israeli assailants.
Maan News agency said the trucks were parked near the terminal, waiting to be allowed through, before the colonizers attacked them and burnt one.
Adel Amro of the Palestinian Shippers Council said the trucks were filled with humanitarian supplies, and added that, besides burning one truck, the colonizers also destroyed the humanitarian aid in the other trucks before the army forced the trucks to head to Beit Awwa town, west of Hebron.
The colonizers caused serious damage, punctured the tires of the trucks, and spilled the sugar and wheat sacks on the ground.
In related news, Israeli colonizers attacked a home and burnt a car in Jaloud village, southeast of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, before the locals forced them away.
Earlier Monday, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers invaded Palestinian lands in the Al-Minya village, southeast of the West Bank city of Bethlehem attacked farmers and shepherds, and stole dozens of bales of wheat and barley.
