Media sources said that Israeli colonists, under the protection of the army, burned olive trees and other crops in the village, while soldiers opened fire at citizens who attempted to extinguish the fire.



In the northern Jordan Valley, Israeli settlers set fire, before dawn on Friday, to Palestinian-owned crops in the “Ein al-Hilweh” community in the northern Jordan Valley.

In related news, on Friday afternoon, illegal Israeli settlers invaded the Qaryout spring in the village of Qaryout, south of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.

Under the full protection of the Israeli army, a group of colonizers invaded the water spring and performed Talmudic rituals; no protests were reported.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states that,

The Occupying Power [ISRAEL] shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies [PALESTINE].
