Illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers carried out new attacks on Palestinian agricultural land on Saturday in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, destroying dozens of olive trees and releasing livestock onto privately owned Palestinian property under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.

Local anti‑colonization activist Osama Makhamra said colonizers from the “Carmel” colony and surrounding outposts, which are built on Palestinian land in Masafer Yatta, invaded the area of Rojoum E’la and released their livestock onto cultivated fields.

Makhamra added that the colonizers uprooted and broke approximately 30 olive trees belonging to resident Mahmoud Ibrahim al‑Adra, causing extensive agricultural damage.

The area has been repeatedly targeted by colonizers attempting to pressure Palestinian families to abandon their land.

In a separate incident, Israeli colonizers released their livestock onto Palestinian farmland in the Hamroush area, east of Sa’ir, northeast of Hebron, destroying crops and grazing on newly planted fields. Residents said the attack was part of a broader pattern aimed at preventing farmers from accessing or cultivating their land.

A day earlier, Israeli colonizers burnt a Palestinian bulldozer and a car in the Wadi ar-Rakhim area in Masafer Yatta.

Communities across Masafer Yatta, Sa’ir, and the surrounding rural areas called on local and international institutions to intervene urgently to protect them from ongoing attacks by Israeli occupation forces and colonizers.

Residents stressed that repeated assaults on farmers, shepherds, homes, and agricultural lands are part of a systematic effort to displace Palestinian families and expand colonial outposts.

These attacks come amid a continued escalation of colonizer violence across the occupied West Bank, where Palestinian communities face land destruction, livestock grazing on their fields, home demolitions, and daily invasions carried out with the backing of Israeli occupation forces.
