Illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers carried out a series of assaults across the occupied West Bank, injuring several Palestinians—including a six‑year‑old child—and burning vehicles and agricultural equipment, in a continued escalation under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
In Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern West Bank, armed colonizers attacked Ragheb Dababsa while he was attempting to reach his home in Khallet ad‑Dab’a area, beating him, and causing multiple bruises before residents evacuated him to Yatta Governmental Hospital.
The colonizers also roamed near homes in Khallet Ali Ghneim in Surif town, northwest of Hebron, shouting insults and hurling abusive language at residents.
In the Old City of Hebron, a six‑year‑old child, Mokhles Ammar Salayma, was injured after being run over by a colonizer near the Israeli military roadblock known as Checkpoint 160 at the entrance to the Salayma neighborhood.
Palestinian Red Crescent Society medics rushed to the area and transported the child to a nearby hospital.
In Abu Njeim, southeast of Bethlehem, colonizers assaulted Anwar Mohammad Mousa Fawaghra, 30, beating him severely and causing bruises and wounds before he was transferred to hospital.
At dawn Thursday, colonizers stormed the town of Ramin, east of Tulkarem, in four vehicles and set fire to a car and an agricultural tractor belonging to Rouhi Hammad.
Residents said the colonizers attempted to ignite additional vehicles and homes, but citizens and Civil Defense crews from Anabta quickly intervened and contained the fire.
Footage showed flames engulfing the vehicle as residents worked to prevent the fire from spreading. No injuries were reported.
In Wadi al‑Sha’er, between Salfit in the central West Bank, and al‑Lubban ash‑Sharqiya, south of Nablus in the northern West bank, colonizers hurled stones at a vehicle driven by a man from Yitma, in his forties, causing the car to overturn and injuring him in the head.
Palestinian medics rushed to the area treated the man before transferring him to Yasser Arafat Hospital in Salfit city.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, a group of colonizers attacked residents and closed streets in the town of Sinjil, north of the city, preventing many Palestinians from reaching their homes.
Documented attacks by illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers have increased across the occupied West Bank, according to data published by the Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission, the Palestinian Ministry of Health, and field reports from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
These incidents include assaults on civilians, arson targeting vehicles and agricultural property, stone‑throwing, armed intimidation, and incursions into Palestinian communities.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has reported a rise in colonizer violence since late 2023, noting repeated attacks in areas surrounding Hebron, Nablus, Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Salfit.
OCHA has also documented cases in which colonizer groups operated in proximity to Israeli military roadblocks or while Israeli occupation forces were present in the area.
These incidents occur alongside ongoing Israeli military invasions throughout the West Bank, which have resulted in additional casualties, arrests, and property destruction.
This pattern of documented attacks continues to affect rural communities, particularly in areas such as Masafer Yatta, the Jordan Valley, and northern West Bank villages, where residents report repeated attempts by colonizer groups to enter or approach Palestinian homes, roads, and agricultural lands.
Palestinian civil society and human rights organizations have recorded 17 deaths and dozens of injuries resulting from colonizer attacks since the beginning of the year, along with the burning of vehicles, agricultural machinery, and farmland, including olive groves.
The slain Palestinians were among 71 Palestinians killed by Israeli soldiers and colonizers across the occupied West Bank.
