Dozens of Israeli colonizers invaded the northern West Bank City of Nablus city, and stormed Joseph’s Tomb, on Friday morning, sparking confrontations. Additionally, illegal settlers assaulted a Palestinian woman near Hebron in the southern West Bank and razed land near Nablus.
Media sources said at dawn Friday, dozens of colonizers stormed the eastern area of Nablus city, and damaged citizens’ property on Jerusalem Street, sparking protests among local Palestinians.
Sources added that the settlers then stormed Joseph’s Tomb, east of the city, performing Talmudic rituals under the protection of the Israeli army.
The Jerusalem Post quoted that the Israeli army who claimed it evacuated the “Israeli civilians” and transferred them to Israeli police for questioning, adding that Israelis are not allowed in “Area A” which is under the civil and administrative control of the Palestinian Authority.
On Thursday night, Israeli settlers invaded the town of Beita and the village of Odala, south of Nablus, sparking confrontations.
Meanwhile, colonizers razed Palestinian lands and uprooted olive trees, on Friday morning, in the town of Aqraba, south of Nablus.
Media sources said that for the past several days, illegal settlers have been carrying out bulldozing operations in the Jabal Qarqafah area of the town.
Furthermore, a Palestinian woman was injured after colonizers assaulted her in the village of Susya, south of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.
Osama Makhamra, a local media activist, told the WAFA News Agency that a group of colonizers and assaulted the woman, Rabiha al-Nawaja’a, in the village of Susya; she was transported to Yatta Governmental Hospital for treatment.
Makhamra added that the settlers hurled rocks at citizens’ homes, causing damage to a number of them, while locals attempted to confront the attacks.
Moreover, Israeli settlers and soldiers assaulted and wounded several citizens in the Old City of Hebron, on Thursday night.
WAFA correspondent reported that a group of Israeli settlers, under the protection of occupation forces, detained and assaulted a number of citizens in the Khan Shahin area in the Old City of Hebron.
An unspecified number of Palestinians sustained various injuries, one of whom was transported to hospital, while the others were treated at the scene.
