Early at dawn on Saturday, a group of illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers invaded the village of Al‑Minya, southeast of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank, and used a high‑intensity floodlight to illuminate Palestinian homes.
Video footage recorded by a local family shows the colonizers moving through the village’s narrow roads while directing a powerful spotlight at houses.
The beam sweeps across windows, rooftops, and courtyards, startling residents and exposing the interiors of several homes.
The footage documents the colonizers approaching residential areas to provoke families who remained inside in the dark to avoid confronting the armed group.
In related news, a group of colonizers invaded Khirbet Sorouj, west of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank, and began casing Palestinian lands while accompanied by Israeli soldiers.
The invasion came shortly after the Israeli occupation government approved a plan to confiscate land in the area for the establishment of a new colony.
