Illegal Israeli colonizers killed a Palestinian young man and shot five others in two separate attacks in the central West Bank governorate of Ramallah, on Wednesday night.
Israeli colonizers killed a Palestinian man and shot three others in the village of Deir Jarir, northeast of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Health Ministry announced on Wednesday night, that the young man, Jihad Mohammad Ajaj, 26, succumbed to critical gunshot wounds inflicted on him by illegal Israeli settlers.
The Ministry added that the settlers shot three other citizens, injuring two seriously, and one moderately: they were transported to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah.
The head of the Deir Jarir village council, Fathi Hamdan, told the WAFA News Agency that an armed paramilitary colonizer threw rocks at citizens’ vehicles on the road between Deir Jarir and Silwad, on Wednesday night.
Hamdan reported that the armed colonizer opened fire with live rounds, shooting four Palestinian citizens who confronted the attack.
For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported three wounded citizens, including one who suffered multiple live gunshot wounds, one who was shot in the abdomen, and another who was shot in the thigh.
According to the Shireen Observatory, 13 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli settlers in 2025, and 35 have been killed since the beginning of the military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
Since October 7, 2023, 1050 Palestinians have been killed, including 35 who were killed by paramilitary colonizers in the occupied West Bank.
Meanwhile, a group of armed paramilitary settlers stormed the village of Atara, north of Ramallah, on Wednesday evening, shooting two citizens, assaulting two others, including a woman, and vandalized citizens’ homes.
The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that Israeli colonizers shot two citizens with live ammunition, one of whom was seriously injured after being shot in the head, while another citizen was moderately wounded after being shot in the abdomen. The Ministry added that both of the injured citizens were transported to the Istishari Arab Hospital in Ramallah.
The PRCS reported that its ambulance crews transported two Palestinians who sustained live gunshot wounds to the hospital for treatment, in addition to one who sustained injuries as a result of assault.
Media sources said that the settlers invaded and ransacked a home, broke its windows, and assaulted a female citizen while she was in her home with her child.
The sources added that the invading colonizers opened fire towards those who attempted to confront the attack, while occupation soldiers invaded the village, firing live rounds at the unarmed Palestinians civilians, with the aim of protecting the illegal settlers.
In related news, Israeli colonizers assaulted a woman and occupation forces abducted three brothers in the northern Jordan Valley, on Wednesday evening.
According to Moataz Basharat, the official responsible for monitoring settlement activities in the Tubas governorate, approximately 20 illegal settlers, under army protection stormed the Al-Hadidiya community in the northern Jordan Valley, assaulted citizens, injuring a Palestinian woman.
The director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in Tubas reported that following the settler attack, Israeli soldiers abducted three brothers, identified as Yusri, Qusay, and Louay Abdul Mahdi Al-Salameen.
In related news, dozens of settlers invaded the village of Kifl Hares, northwest of Salfit in the central West Bank, on Wednesday evening.
Media sources reported that occupation forces stormed Kifl Hares village, closed its entrances, and deployed soldiers throughout the streets in order to secure the invasion of dozens of settlers.
The sources added that dozens of illegal Israeli colonizers invaded the village, under army protection, and performed Talmudic rituals at religious shrines.
