Israeli forces carried out a series of violations across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, including a fatal drone strike, renewed bombardment, and continued targeting of civilians and rescue workers, according to medical teams and local field reporters.

Palestinian Killed by Israeli Drone East of Khan Younis

A Palestinian man was killed on Tuesday morning when an Israeli drone fired at him in the eastern sector of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the devastated Gaza Strip.

Medical crews said the man was struck while moving through an area that has seen repeated Israeli fire in recent days.

His body was transferred to Nasser Medical Complex after residents managed to reach the site under ongoing gunfire.

The eastern perimeter of Khan Younis has remained one of the most volatile areas since the “ceasefire” began, with Israeli forces maintaining a heavy presence, firing toward agricultural lands, and restricting civilian movement.

Israeli Naval Forces Abduct Five Fishermen Off Gaza City

Earlier in the day, Israeli naval units abducted five Palestinian fishermen operating off the coast of Gaza City near the Shati’ refugee camp.

Witnesses reported that Israeli boats opened fire on the fishermen before surrounding their vessels, detaining the crew, and towing the boats toward the port of Ashdod.

Those identified include Emad Jalal al‑Qara‘an, Ahmad Samir al‑Masar‘a, and Mohammad Wael Salah. The fishermen were working within Gaza’s limited maritime zone, where Israeli forces have repeatedly targeted crews with live fire, water cannons, and confiscations.

Airstrikes and Demolitions in Northern and Central Gaza

Israeli warplanes conducted controlled demolitions of residential structures in Beit Lahia and Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, continuing a pattern of systematic destruction in areas previously emptied by military orders.

Multiple explosions were heard across the town as several multi‑story buildings were leveled.

Airstrikes also hit the Shuja’iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City and the eastern outskirts of Deir al‑Balah, in central Gaza.

Residents reported that drones circled overhead for hours, followed by sudden strikes that caused additional damage to already devastated areas.

Artillery Fire Continues in Eastern Khan Younis

In parallel with the drone killing, Israeli artillery units fired shells toward eastern Khan Younis throughout the morning.

Local reporters documented bursts of heavy machine‑gun fire targeting open areas and roads leading to the eastern neighborhoods, further restricting access for ambulances and civil defense teams.

A Day of Escalating Violations

Tuesday’s incidents — the drone killing, the abduction of fishermen, renewed airstrikes, artillery fire, and the obstruction of rescue operations — reflect a continued pattern of Israeli military violations across the Gaza Strip despite the “ceasefire” framework.

Residents in multiple areas reported that the sound of drones, artillery, and naval fire persisted throughout the day, underscoring the fragility of the truce and the ongoing risks facing displaced civilians across the territory.

Rising Casualties Amid Rescue Restrictions

Medical sources reported that two Palestinians were killed over the past 48 hours, including one whose body was recovered from beneath rubble, and ten others were injured.

Emergency crews say the real toll is likely higher, as many victims remain trapped under collapsed buildings or in areas too dangerous to reach.

The overall number of Palestinians killed in Gaza since October 7, 2023, has risen to 71,391, with 171,279 injured. Since the “ceasefire” declared on October 11, 2025, at least 424 Palestinians have been killed and 1,199 injured, while 685 bodies have been recovered from destroyed structures.
