Israeli forces abducted, on Friday, seven Palestinians including a former prisoner, in the Jenin and Tulkarem governorates, in the northern and northwestern parts of the West Bank.
Before dawn on Friday, Israeli forces invaded Arraba town, southwest of Jenin in the northern West Bank, abducted two Palestinian young men, and assaulted an elderly man.
The army broke into the home of the Palestinian detainee, Thabet Al-Mardawi, abducted his son, Osama, and assaulted his elderly father.
Meanwhile, soldiers broke down the door and searched the home of Thabet Abu Aziza, before abducting him.
It was added that soldiers destroyed a privately-owned vehicle during their incursion into the town.
Furthermore, Israeli forces conducted a wide-scale search campaign in several other towns and villages in the Jenin governorate.
Later, soldiers abducted Palestinian young man when he attempted to pass through the Tayaseer military roadblock, northeast of Tubas in the northeastern part of the West Bank.
On Friday evening, soldiers abducted a former prisoner and resident of Arraba, Mahdi Abdel Nasser Zuhair, from the military roadblock.
Meanwhile, the army invaded the villages of Al-Jalamah, Arabbuna, Arranah, Faqq’ua, and Jalbun, north to east of Jenin, sparking protests among local Palestinians, while soldiers opened fire with rounds.
In the northwestern part of the West Bank, Israeli forces invaded, before dawn on Friday, the city of Tulkarem. and the town of Bal’a, northeast of the city.
Media sources said that at least twelve military vehicles stormed the city of Tulkarem while soldiers broke into and searched several citizens’ homes and shops.
The army abducted Tahi Shreiteh, his son, Moataz, his son-in-law, Moaz Hilal, and Youssef Sharaka, after invading their homes, while protests erupted.
Northeast of the city, soldiers invaded many citizens’ homes in the town of Bal’a, without any reports of abductions or protests.
