On Monday before dawn, the Israeli military invaded various parts of the West Bank, breaking into and ransacking dozens of Palestinian homes and abducting at least twenty citizens.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) and the Palestinian Detainees Committee stated that the army abducted more than twenty Palestinians across the West Bank, especially in Ramallah, Qalqilia, Nablus and Jerusalem.

They added that the soldiers caused damage to the invaded homes after breaking into them and ransacking their contents.

The Israeli soldiers abducted one young man from the town of Tammoun, south of Tubas, after summoning him for interrogation. He was identified as Jalal Abdul Ghani Bani Odeh, 46 years old.

Israeli soldiers also abducted a young man from the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah, in the central West Bank.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces abducted the young man, Walid Haddad, 22 years old, while he was heading to his agricultural land in the town.

In addition, the army invaded several villages and towns in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, namely: Shuqba, Budrus, Qibya, Ni’lin, Deir Qiddis, and Al-Madiya.

Furthermore, the occupation forces stormed the Jalazoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah, in the central West Bank, and abducted two young men.

Earlier Monday, Israeli soldiers invaded the Al-Jalazoun refugee camp, north of the occupied West Bank’s central part, shot four Palestinian and abducted two.

The army also invaded and ransacked many homes in the Hebron governorate, in the southern part of the West Bank, and abducted Sayyaf Ali Al-Asafra, Nizar Suleiman Al-Asafra, Hamza Al-Zohour, Mo’tasem Al-Atawna, Laith Yousef Al-Asafra, Raed Kamal Al-Namoura, and Shadi Namoura from the town of Doura, after raiding and searching their homes.

Independent journalist Mohammed Awad reported that the Israeli occupation forces invaded the Aseeda area in Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, stormed a house and a commercial store selling agricultural materials, searched them, seized all the liquid and dry fertilizers used in spraying pesticides, estimated to be worth thousands of shekels, and abducted the store owner, Waleed Mohammad Salman Sabarna, 42 years old.

Awad added that the Israeli forces stormed and ransacked several homes in the town of Yatta and the village of Abu Al-Asja, south of Hebron, belonging to the Musallam al-Namoura family, searched them, and ransacked their contents.

Furthermore, the soldiers kept the entrances to several towns, villages, and refugee camps in Hebron closed with iron gates, set up military roadblocks, searched citizens’ vehicles, and interrogated many while inspecting their ID cards.

In Qalqilia, in the northwestern West Bank, the soldiers abducted two young men from the town of Azzoun, east of the city.

Eyewitnesses stated that the soldiers abducted Mohammad Abdul-Karim Salim and Ibrahim Nidal Salim, in their thirties, after invading and searching their homes.

In related news, the army prevented citizens under the age of 40 from entering their lands to pick olives on their orchards in Khirbet Yanoun, south of Nablus, in the northern West Bank.

The head of the Yanoun village council, Rashid Marar, stated that the soldiers stormed the agricultural lands located along the Awarta road, near the Itamar illegal colony, forced all Palestinians under the age of 40 to leave their lands, and prevented them from picking olives, despite having received coordination for four days.

Marar added that the decision poses a great danger and will destroy the season this year, especially since the elderly will not be able to pick the olives during the coordination period.
