On Sunday, Israeli forces assaulted and abducted a Palestinian child during their military incursion into the town of Ya’bad, west of Jenin in the northern West Bank.

Media sources reported that on Saturday evening, occupation forces assaulted a 13-year-old child, Rakan Amarna, before abducting him from the street.

According to Amjad Atatra, the Mayor of Ya’bad, reported that Israeli forces invaded the town at dawn, stormed many citizens’ homes and forcibly evacuated their inhabitants.

Atatra added that the army converted a number of the homes into military barracks, forced shops at the town’s entrance to close, and closed the town’s secondary entrances.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces stormed the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, on Saturday night.


In related news, the army invaded the village of Immatain, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources reported that Israeli soldiers stormed the village of Immatain on Saturday evening, patrolling the streets in several neighborhoods; no abductions were reported.
