Israeli forces carried out, on Monday, a military incursion into the Al-Far’a refugee camp, southwest of Tubas in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that the army stormed Al-Far’a camp, before dawn, accompanied by a D-9 and front-end loaders, followed by military reinforcements, sparking protests.
Armed Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading army and targeted military vehicles; no injuries were reported.
The incursion lasted for more than 5 hours, before the army withdrew, when residents documented the severe destruction caused by military bulldozers.
Sources added that the army caused major destruction to streets, shop entrances, in addition to citizens’ homes and vehicles.
